  3. Detective Chess is an original puzzle game for Windows 3.1+ or
  4. Windows 95, based on the rules of Chess. You have to discover 
  5. the position of hidden Chess pieces based on certain clues.
  6.  
  7. The game can generate an infinite variety of puzzles - it will 
  8. never run out!  Furthermore, there are many options including 
  9. different board sizes, different numbers of pieces, and the use 
  10. of non-standard pieces.  By changing these, the puzzles can be 
  11. made as easy or as challenging as you like.

  13. Installation as such is not needed.  Just make sure Det.exe and 
  14. Det.hlp are present in the same directory.  From File Manager or 
  15. Windows, run Det.exe and press F1 for the full help file.  You 
  16. can install it as a program item in the usual manner - read the 
  17. help topic on Installation.
